CVM Electric, Inc., is one of the region’s most venerable and respected electrical contracting firms. Now in its fourth generation as a family owned and operated business, the company is characterized by values, experience and expertise that has evolved and deepened since its founding in 1919. Today, a new generation is ready to continue that history and deliver the promise of technology with the integrity of tradition.

CVM Electric performs projects ranging from small residential service work to multi-million dollar design-build, design assist and tradition plan and specification work. We strive to perform professional work at competitive prices.

Carlo Madonia

Carlo V. Madonia, Jr. was raised in the electrical trade and began taking on projects in high school under his father’s guidance. While studying architecture at the University of New York at Buffalo, he founded CVM Electric in 1981, transitioning to full-time electrical contracting after securing a major contract to develop cellular phone sites across the Northeast. He holds 16 licenses throughout Western New York and has managed over $150 million in electrical projects, and now enjoys working alongside his sons, Tre and Kyle.

Tre Madonia

Tre Madonia graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University at Buffalo with a dual degree in Biomedical Science and Toxicology. He chose to join the family’s electrical contracting business in 2009, where he quickly distinguished himself by leveraging his strong technical and computer skills to automate CVM Electric’s lighting retrofit and solar energy operations. As an Energy Systems Engineer, he played a key role in driving business development. Tre has since transitioned into managing both plan-and-spec and design-build projects, where his analytical background and operational insight continue to enhance the company’s performance.

Kyle Madonia

Kyle Madonia earned a B.S. in Biology from the University at Fredonia. He began his career at CVM Electric working in the field, where he developed a solid foundation in electrical installation, blueprint reading, and onsite project execution. This hands-on experience laid the groundwork for his successful transition into estimating and project management. Today, Kyle manages a variety of plan-and-spec and design-build projects while also heading the estimating department.
